Photography is powerful. Throughout history, it has changed opinions, revealed truths and highlighted both the best and worst parts of humanity. A single image can say what a thousand words cannot. Bearing this in mind, we’ve paired up with The Huffington Post, one of the biggest global platform for news and original content, to ask – what does peace look like to you?

Stretching across the spectrum, many things can be linked with peace – mothers embracing their children, hippy daisy chains or powerful protests. There’s no right or wrong answer!

Your Mission: Quite simply, What Does Peace Look Like To You? Is peace the absence of war and violence, or does it mean more to you? Is peace a place, person or thing? A white dove, snoozing infants or simply the sun streaming through your bedroom window – whatever is personal to you, works. Peace is a broad topic, and this is an opportunity to fully explore it.

Your Reward: This is your chance to be featured and credited on one of the biggest websites in the world. The Huffington Post will be using the most powerful images to accompany articles online, so you could see your image being shown to a global audience.
