as you know we’ve introduced a ton of new functionalities and features with EyeEm 3.0. Some of these can be easily accessed by swiping across and up and down your screen, so we’ve put together a handy list of tips:
1. Swipe to switch between filters and frames
When taking a photo you can easily change between filters and frames by swiping left and right (filters) and up and down (frames). You don’t have to take the photo first to do so: just change the filters & frames live as you see the picture through your screen.
2. Swipe to switch between tags and captions
At the upload screen you’ve got the option to use a tag (purple bubble) or a caption (plain text). To change between these two options just swipe left and right. See the video below to see how it looks like.
3. Swipe to delete a comment
Posted a comment you want to delete? Just swipe from right to left over the comment and the red “delete” box will appear (see photo below).
4. Swipe to hide an album in Discover feed
The Discover feed shows you what’s around & relevant to you. But in case there’s an album you don’t want to see in there anymore you can simply hide it. To do so just swipe from right to left at the top bar of the album and you’ll get the option to hide it forever.
5. Pull to refresh
This works for all album views (Friends feed, Discover feed, Album view, Around You, Popular): pull (swipe down) to refresh the feed and see what’s new.
1. Swipe to switch between Friends and Discover feed
In your home screen you can easily switch between your Friends feed and the Discover feed by swiping left and right. Attention: it can get a little bit addictive.
2. Swipe to switch between profile, followers and following
When on someone’s profile you can switch between the profile view, following view and followers view by swiping left and right. This also works great on your own profile.
3. Swipe to switch between filters
Take a photo and swipe to switch between filters and frames. Swipe left and right to switch between filters and up and down to switch between frames.
4. Pull to refresh
Similar to iPhone, this works for all album views (Friends feed, Discover feed, Album view, Around You, Popular): pull (swipe down) to refresh the feed and see what’s new.
