Night Singapore by Justin See on EyeEm
Meet Jusin See from Singapore, a project director for an events company dealing with corporate activities. He gets inspired by everyday life and the sharing of a singular moment. He took some time out to answer some questions for us.
Hi there! Who are you? And what do you do?
I’m Justin See from Singapore, the little Red Dot. Some known me as KoalazyMonkey, while others known me as @justinsee. I’m a project director for an events company dealing mostly with corporate activities.
How did you start taking photos with your phone?
I started iphone photography when i first got my iPhone as a gift from my dad, and even since, i’ve never stop snapping picture with the phone. There wasn’t much apps back then, and I remember doing my editing mostly with apps like CameraKit, Camerabag, SnapFilters, etc….
What is your source of inspiration?
My inspiration comes from within, from everyday’s life.. And the sharing of life’s moment. I use iphone photography as a way to keep my aging brain working (harder)…Other sources of inspiration come from looking at the art works of many other excellent iphone photographers.
What’s your favorite personal picture and please explain the story behind it.
There are a lot photographers that I like, but this one the piece that I like the most, title: A Long Way. This was taken while on bus, on the way to work. The man with the umbrella caught my attention, and i got 3 seconds to catch this shot.
For the future you are dreaming of…
For the future, I am DREAMING of holding my personal exhibition in a foreign land, in another country..I am working on a 5000-hipstamatic-shots project, and hopefully, 1 day, i can feature all the 5000 shots. Dreaming…well…let me start sharing them on Eye’em now
